Weekend

I had a very early appointment Saturday morning. On the way home, we dropped by the Kettleman's to get some bagels for breakfast. We had breakfast outside. Omlette, cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, almond butter, plum jam and coffee. Yumm...Weather was nice, a little windy, but nice.

I think Friday was the hottest day that we had so far and I forgot to water my plants... Saturday morning they looked a little bit unhappy but still showing their best colors...I love geraniums...
In the afternoon, we drove to the Merrickville. A very pretty victorian village, situated along the Rideau Canal. http://www.realmerrickville.ca/

We walked around the village, looked at the shops, watched the boats going through the locks and opening of the Canal swings. Then we bought some goodies from Mrs.McGarrigle's Fine Food Shop. In the evening we met with friends for a dinner&movie. We went to see "The Bourne Ultimatum". Unfortunatelly I wasn't able to watch the whole thing, I was feeling sick and slept during most of the movie(side effects of the new medication).

On Sunday, I spent whole day in the bed. Sleeping, reading, resting and trying to get better.

First Post

My husband got me this wooden heart puzzle at Covent Garden, London, ten years ago. In our first home, I kept it on a bookshelf for a while. Then we moved to Canada and it stayed in a storage box with my other "treasures". Finally last year, it came back to me again and it is on my desk since then. It seems that I can't keep my hands off of it, I like to touch it, take it apart and put it back.

This morning I was playing with my heart puzzle and thinking about what to call my blog. Then I suddenly realized that this would be the perfect name: Puzzle Heart.

There, now you know the story of the name of my first blog ever...The
picture will make its way to the banner eventually, but not today...
